The NIH Blueprint was pleased to host the Writing Your Own Blueprint: 2023 NIH Blueprint Diversity Conference for diverse neuroscientists, including the DSPAN (F99/K00) scholars, ENDURE alumni, BRAIN Initiative K99/R00 awardees, and BRAIN Initiative supplement awardees. This conference provided structured opportunities for neuroscience graduate and postdoctoral fellows to: engage with NIH Blueprint Program staff, form peer to peer networks, and share their science through poster presentations. The program themes this year focused on leadership competencies, strengthening science communications skills, and developing your professional and scholarly brand. These new skills helped participants network within the scientific community to enhance visibility and clearly convey their research to others.
Blueprint and BRAIN awardees presented their research in a virtual poster session on the afternoon of July 11, 2023. The poster session was open to the neuroscience community as an opportunity to meet the trainees who represent a bright future for our field!
